fellows and associate fellows
fellows
The graduate school fellows are the key co-ordinators and leaders of the research activities of the school. Their vision and engagement help feed and focus the concerns of the researchers working through the school. The fellows provide the overarching intellectual and creative vision of the school. Through their work they each facilitate the integration of the school's programme into the day-to-day life of the collaborating institutions. Each of the collaborating institutions appoints their research co-ordinator/fellow on the basis of an internal selection process. Fellows may be appointed for any period ranging from a semester to several years. The fellows bring their creativity and energies to the realisation of an exciting and diverse workload including programme delivery, research development and partnership building. The fellows spend part of their time on site in the school and part of their time working on their own institutional campus to augment institutional research activities within the dynamic context of the graduate school. Use the links below to find out more about the fellows working at the school.

visiting fellows
Each semester the school invites an external researcher/practitioner to become a visiting fellow at the school. Visiting fellows interact with the school community to foster new thinking and experimentation across creative arts and media research. Typically the visiting fellow will conduct a series of advanced seminars with researchers and the other fellows attached to the school, as well as interacting with other colleagues across the higher education space.

associate fellows
The associate fellows are key leaders in research development from the collaborating institutions or working in external collaboration with the school. As with the fellows, associate fellows may be in place for any period of time ranging from a semester to several years. Many associate fellows are involved with the school primarily through their role as primary research supervisors or by virtue of their specialist input as members of supervisory teams. Some associate fellows provide high-level specialist inputs into the seminar, workshop and lecture series. The school is dependent upon the associate fellows to provide anchorage in discipline-specific and cutting-edge research knowledge: they ensure that the school achieves both breadth and depth in its broad sectoral remit to develop creative arts and media research.
