Speakers presenting at the Arts Research: The State of Play conference,
Project Arts Centre, Dublin. May 2008

our first birthday - 6/2/2009 friday 13:30-16:00

The doctoral researchers at the School have organized an open day
event to mark the conclusion of Year 1 of the School’s programme
and the commencement of Year 2. Light refreshments and
food-for-thought will be provided.

In February 2008 we began with 8 researchers funded by PRTLI Cycle IV,
we have since grown to 18 full time researchers as of February 2009. These
researchers working at GradCAM will provide short descriptions of work
currently happening across our constituent partners through the School.
They will also answer your questions about the mission, operation and
future prospects of the School. We would very much welcome colleagues,
friends, well-wishers and potential participants and researchers to join
us for this open day and an opportunity to find out more about the Graduate
School. This is an exciting experiment on the part of DIT, IADT, NCAD
and Ulster in collaborative and creative interdisciplinary research development.

Please RSVP to aidan.mcelwaine(at)gradcam.ie by next Monday the 2nd of February.
